KŪPONO PROJECT

As a response to the rise in costs of living in Hawai'i and hardships faced post-COVID, Pūlama Nā Liko recently launched the Kūpono Project, a community revitalization initiative. The Kūpono Project operates out of Liko Boutique to bring new and used goods at no cost to local individuals and families in need.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Through partnerships with various local organizations and outreach programs, Pūlama Nā Liko is distributing "Liko Dollars" to families in need throughout the community. These Liko Dollars are redeemable at Liko Boutique located in Waimea, Hawai'i. This storefront is our central hub for community outreach.

We know that needs differ for each individual and family. Therefore, recipients of Liko Dollars can redeem its value for any thrift items within Liko Boutique. We offer a variety of gently used and new merchandise. Items range from clothing and household items to school supplies and sporting goods.

HOW CAN I HELP?

The Kūpono Project is the most successful when our community comes together to support one another.

NEEDED ITEMS

Children and men’s clothing & shoes

Hygiene & self-care items

Diapers & wipes

Household goods

School supplies & backpacks

Sporting equipment for school-aged students

Canned & non-perishable food

SPONSOR LIKO DOLLARS

Currently, Pūlama Nā Liko funds 100% of Liko Dollars distributed. With your help and sponsorship of Liko Dollars, we will be able to increase distribution and help more community members in need.

All donations are tax-deductible and significant contributions would provide opportunities for advertising and recognition at our storefront, on our website, and on related promotional materials.
