Series #4: Tuesday. July 13 and Friday, July 16
Classes are offered in a series of two, one hour haʻawina (lessons) per week:
Tuesday - 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.
Introduction and review of foundational hula steps
Introduction of mele hula lesson
Friday - 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Review of foundational hula steps
Continuation of mele hula lesson
- Classes will be held at our hālau learning center in Waimea, and are open to everyone ages five (5) years old and up.
- Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, class sizes are very small and very limited. We kindly ask those who are interested in attending either one or all classes to please reserve your place for the series you would like to attend. Class placement is on a first come, first serve basis, so be sure to register early.
- Face masks are REQUIRED upon arrival at the hālau and are to be worn when moving throughout the hālau, outside of your designated dance area. You may dance with or without your face mask on while inside your designated dance area.
